In Our Own Minds
About us:
"In Our Own Minds" was founded by Chuck Lamont & Paul Miller. Our songs are introspective with some of the lyrics having a clear strong message, and others intentionally left open ended for interpretation. Our genre is difficult to define as we strive to make every song different and unique. Regardless of the various moods we portray in music and verse, we have tried to weave a hopeful message into each song (though this is often hidden between the lines.) Above all else, we strive to make our music thought provoking.
We believe that you can change the world one thought at a time, one person at a time, starting with ourselves, and that kindness is something you can give away for free. Not unique thoughts, but powerful for sure and ones that we have embraced.
We are hoping for a more peaceful world

Brief Bio & Contributions:
I'm glad to be able to write this passage and continue on... happily. I know many who are struggling with health issues, and good health is something I will never (again) take for granted. Having thus far survived cancer myself, I will forever be grateful to my wife (also a survivor), my surgeon, and everyone else who helped and supported me during my fight. I believe if we remind ourselves of the gift of life, and good health (for those of us lucky enough to be in good health) and we treat each day as a gift, we can make the world a better place.
As for music, I generally approach the most creative elements in my life (music and videography) in the same way; initially from a visceral perspective, and then technically. I enjoy both equally.
The bottom line:
What we do as human beings, changes the present and carves the future, for us, our planet, and every living thing around us.
More to follow...

Brief Bio & Contributions:
“Watching the wave break and roll back revealing what was hidden, realizing it was part of us all, waiting to be found”
I am someone who can feel alone in a crowd; scribbling ideas and streams of thought as the world swirls around. Looking for the things that others ignore, left beside the road.
I am a singer and songwriter; sometimes poetic, other times a reflection of the feelings wearing inside for possession of his thoughts. I like to take a mundane situation, and find a story waiting to be told. You could say, I am a voyeur of the human condition, a witness of our best and worst, or maybe just someone who snuck in and is sticking around to see what happens.
The bottom line:
Self-reflection is the mirror of the mind
